Felicity Brown
From early beginnings on the dusty plains of rural New South Wales to gracing the runways of New York Fashion Week, Felicity "Flic" Brown, known affectionately as the Milliner on the Move, has forged a remarkable career fuelled by creativity, resilience, and an adventurous spirit.
An Australian country girl at heart, Flic’s journey has taken her far from home, yet her roots remain a vital part of her story. Her millinery journey began on remote outback cattle and sheep stations, where she turned a creative hobby into a business. Self-taught and tenacious, she launched Hats by Felicity in 2007, transforming her passion into a full-time endeavour in 2016.
Flic’s designs are a celebration of Outback Australia and the Kimberley region in particular, featuring hand-collected feathers, locally sourced South Sea pearls, and elements inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of rural Australia. Whether designing for a country wedding, a bush ceremony, or a grand outback affair, her one-of-a-kind creations ensure every bride has a truly unique piece to treasure forever.
